Along with our account offerings, we also offer other services for the convenience of our customers.

Transfer of Funds

• Local Transfers – with our wide area network, transfer is effected to any of our branches free of charge for all account holders.
  • Non-account holders would have to pay transfer charges ranging from .25% to .5%
• Foreign Transfers – normally done by SWIFT. Charges range from .75% to 1% depending on volume.

Issues of Drafts

• Local Drafts – These are issued in Leones for local transactions.
  • Charges range from a minimum of Le15,000 to .5%
• Foreign Drafts – These are issued in respect of current foreign transactions.
  • Charges range from a minimum of $10 to 2% of amount of draft

Sale / Purchase of Travellers Cheques

• This service is mainly for travellers in and out of Sierra Leone. Travellers cheques are purchased / sold at the prevailing rate of exchange

Bonds / Guarantees / Indemnities

• These products are available to standing customers and can be provided on application and sight of contract documents

Safe Custody

• Parcels and boxes are accepted for safe custody for customers on condition that customers agree to our charges which range from Le20,000 per annum to Le100,000 per annum.

The bank also offers other services like:

• Effecting Standing Orders
• Providing Certificates of Balance
• Providing bankers’ opinion to other banks
• Clearing both local and foreign cheques on behalf of customers
